The Island Private School Campus

Our modern main campus, which opened its doors in September 2022, is thoughtfully designed to support every stage of learning. It includes dedicated spaces for Pre-Primary, Primary, and Secondary students, as well as outdoor sports courts, creative playgrounds, two art studios, two music rooms, two libraries, and a welcoming canteen.

International Baccalaureate (IB) – A Full IB Continuum School

As the only IB Continuum School in Cyprus, we proudly offer all four IB programmes:

• Primary Years Programme (PYP)
• Middle Years Programme (MYP)
• Diploma Programme (DP)
• Career-related Programme (CP)

Our CP track emphasizes Entrepreneurship and Technology, offering students in Years 11–12 a unique blend of academic rigor and real-world experience. This programme equips them with valuable skills and insights to succeed in today’s dynamic professional landscape.

Waldorf Education

Waldorf is a time-tested approach that blends academics with art, movement, and emotional development. Rooted in more than a century of practice, it’s designed to meet children where they are intellectually, emotionally, and practically. Learning comes alive through creativity, critical thinking, and meaningful human connection.

At The Island Private School, Waldorf educators guide students using the “head, heart, and hands” philosophy, encouraging a deep love of learning and helping children build lives rich with meaning and purpose.

Montessori Education

Our Montessori programme empowers children to become independent, curious learners through hands-on exploration in thoughtfully prepared environments.

Pre-Primary Montessori (ages 3–6) focuses on foundational life skills, sensory development, and early academics, all driven by each child’s natural interests and pace.

Primary Montessori (ages 6–8) continues this self-directed approach, inviting students to dive deeper into subjects like language, math, science, history, and the arts, always guided by experienced Montessori educators who foster independence and confidence.

Boarding Campus at Sunset Gardens

Starting in September 2025, we’re expanding our community with the launch of our boarding programme for students in Grades 7 to 12. Located at the beautiful Sunset Gardens, the new boarding campus will offer a safe, enriching, and supportive home-away-from-home for students who want to grow, learn, and connect beyond the classroom.
